Measure Your Body

(RECOMMENDED)

Use our simple step-by-step guide to measure your body.

Measure your garment

Use our simple step-by- step guide to measure an exiting garment you own.

CHEST

To measure the chest of a garment laid flat, place the measuring tape straight across the chest from one armpit to the other. Ensure that you do not stretch or pull apart the garment while taking the measurement. It's important to double the measurement you obtain. Doubling the measurement accounts for both the front and back of the garment, providing you with the total chest circumference.

To measure the chest at its widest point, place the tape measure high under your armpits and position it approximately at nipple level.

SHOULDER

To measure the shoulder width of a garment laid flat, place the measuring tape between the shoulders at the sleeve seam. This measurement should be taken from one sleeve seam to the other, across the back. It provides an accurate representation of the shoulder width.

To measure the shoulders, place the tape measure across the shoulders from one shoulder tip to the other. Ensure that you measure right at the corner point where the arm meets the shoulder.

SLEEVE

When measuring the sleeve length of a garment, start from the shoulder/sleeve seam and follow along the upper edge of the sleeve until you reach the edge of the cuff. This measurement will give you the sleeve length, providing an accurate indication of the sleeve length.

The sleeve measurement from a garment or from the body should be consistent. Measure from the corner point where the shoulder meets the sleeve, down to just below the wrist. It's advisable to slightly overestimate the sleeve length measurement rather than underestimating it.

LENGTH

To measure the length of a garment, start from the seam at the top of the garment and then measure straight down along the edge to the bottom of the garment. This measurement will provide you with the overall length of the garment, giving you an accurate indication of its full length.

For the length measurement, start from the top of the shoulder near the neck and measure along the front of your body to the desired point where you want the garment to end. Stand in a relaxed posture while taking this measurement.
